Title: Macros who bought micros
Post by: kosmikkreeper on April 16, 2007, 19:45
Hi all

I'm working on a business plan and part of that plan is to show the growth of microstock. One way is to see which macros have purchased micros or who started their own micro.

So far I know that Jupiter Media bought StockXpert and that Getty bought Itsock.

Any others?

Thanks!

??? Getty bought iStock for $50m.

I think that is all the ones owned by the amjors. Corbis is to start macrostock soon, not sure if they will be doing from scratch or by buying out.

I think Dreamtimes latest moves are gearingthem to be bought out but I may be wrong.
