SS  44.8% BME
DT  16.4% BME
FT   11.1%

BS    7.1%
StockXpert  7.0%
IS     6.5%

123  4.7%
FP     2.1% BME
SPM  0.2%
CanStockPhoto  0.1%

Actually less downloads at Shutterstock than usual but the earnings/DL increased plus extended licences and a run on footage clip downloads brought up the total.

The subscriptions at StockXpert seems to be cutting into my earnings

If you got 1000 credits on FT in one month you would be making a killing if you had your images on the other big 6...

IS   68% (10th consecutive BME)
SS   16% (up 80% from an EL)
FT   4% (way down)
DT   4% (down)
StockXpert   1% (up but at 1%, so what)
BigStock   3% (up a bit)
123RF   4% (down a bit)
SV   0% (was doing well then the place died a couple months ago)
AB   0% (removed my images)
FP   1% (finally made a couple sales)

IS is doing extremely well for me. SS is doing good. The rest are becoming a waste of time simply due to the level of effort vs return.

hi, weird month for me, those ebbs and flows have been pretty turbulent :) uploaded very little so no prizes for guessing which site had low sales, looked like a two week long weekend :( at least pay rise brought it back up.

IS 44% BME
SS 18%
DT 13%

FT 5.2% BME by $0.80
123 4.5%
StockXpert 4.1%
PANTH 3.3% BME 10% of portfolio
BigStock 3.1%
FP 1.5% BME again - every month grows

ZYMM 0.8% (20% of port)
MOST, SNAP, SCAN, CAN & CRE about 0.5-0.7% each

That is some pretty good money you are making at this. Apparently it is still possible to make a six figure income at microstock even if you are not one of the top three contributors.  Especially if you live in some tropical part of the world with a nice beach and beautiful women.  Man, I need to move!  8)

Overall slightly up, which surprises me. I had no time to upload. ah - and the 300$ per month are still far away for me. *shrugs shoulders*

FT: 44.6% (BME)
IS: 32.7% (slightly down from April)
SS: 17.1% (down unsurprisingly)
DT: 5.7% (down by 50%)  >:(

Slightly weird month, I didn't upload any photo's at all, but still had second best month ever. Mainly down to Istock which accounted for almost 50%.

IS             49% bme
SS            13%
123RF      12% bme
FT            10%
DT            8% worst month for ages
BigStock          5% ditto
StockXpert          3%

50% less income comparing to april.

none of sites were BME (except 123rf, but it is my 2nd month there) this month for me, especialy FT, it was the biggest down.

FT - 38%  (60% down earnings comparing to april)
SS - 35% (30% down)
DT - 10% (10% down)
123rf - 8% (BME 50% up)
StockXpert - 5% (30% down)
IS - 4% (0% up/down)

In total, I earned about 1000$ less than last month. :(

My Summary:

  • SS - had my BME there in the space of 12 months, good month all around except no EL's
  • iS - pretty lousy month on all accounts compared to prior
  • FT - more DL's then April but no EL thus overall drop
  • DT - positive growth but nothing earth shattering... yet
  • 123rf - lower sales then expected, hopefully this will change and isn't a trend
  • StockXpert - looks great but only because April 08 was really lousy, let's see how June goes
  • SV - pretty good for an upstart

My Conclusion:

This month marks twelve months of me dabbling in microstock. It was my second best month in terms of income and my best in terms of sales. The separating factor from my best income month (October 07) was no EL sales. I dropped the ball between Oct 07 and Mar 08 with no new material. However I do seem to be back on track now so onto June 08 and let's see what the future holds. The one observation I have is that microstock does seem to be slowing down due to combination of economy and market saturation. Also another is to take nothing for granted in this industry.

BME (20% more than previous BME, was Mar-2008)

istock                    40,86% (BME, 1 EL)
shutterstock           16,29% (BME, 1 EL)
dreamstime              9,35%
digitalstock              7,25 (German site)
stockxpert               6,80%
shotshop                 6,75% (BME - German site)
fotolia                     4,69% (BME)
123rf                      4,12% (BME)
panthermedia           3,09%

minimal revenue at bigstock and none at snapvillage.

istock is still strong but dropped a bit regarding overall revenue percentage (Apr 45,54% -> May 40,86%).

Quite some comeback at shutterstock, best  month since Oct-2007

The 2 German site are suprisingly stable, but Panthermedia is just a big disappointment,  big drop since they introduced the 30/50 rule.

Biggest jump and surprise: 123rf -> BME by 70%!!
