Hi all,

Does anyone know what the general policies are regarding identical metadata for several images or videos? Do all titles and descriptions of videos/images have to be unique? I've tried googling but haven't found anything conclusive.

Thanks in advance!

You should be fine.  If there's automation involved, then it might be a problem. I can't recall exactly but I remember images being rejected that were different in composition but had the same keywords.  I changed some keywords and they went through. I don't recall specifically where that was and it was some time ago.   But agencies don't have policies about titles and keywords being the same.

Awesome, thanks Mantis! I'll give it a shot and see what they say.

This will definitely affect the indexation percentage of your images and how they show in organic results. If you have the time to write separate titles, I'd recommend it.

Also, look at the url structure for the site you're uploading to. If they are using the title in the URL, different is much better than duplicate.
