Here is another keywording tool you can use if you want.
http://microstockgroup.com/tools/keyword.php

It doesn't really do anything 'more' than the numerous other options, Yuri's tool, MicrostockKeywords, or the Dusegard tool, but there were a few things that frustrated me with the other options and I thought it would be a fun challenge so I made my own.  The goal was to make a quick and efficient UI

The 'features'
- large 'click targets' for keywords and images, so it is quicker to click
- large thumbnails when picking images
- the list of chosen keywords updates dynamically when you click keywords or manually add them to the list, saving you one page reload.
- the list of keywords and added words always stays on the page so you don't have to scroll back to the top when finished.

so anyhow, use it if you want..

Here is a little video for those who don't like testing things out themselves :)
Microstock Keyword Tool

I also made a little keyword comparison tool last week

Awesome tool Tyler, better than Yuris imho :)
Should lead to higher quality keywords too, since it's not pre-selecting a load of unrelated rubbish keywords.
That's something I've been trying to create for a couple of years, and I think you've mastered it.
Very nicely done :)

Leaf - another great tool. I was just in the closing stages of completing a comprehensive step by step guidebook to stock photography where I had described Yuri's tool and how to use it. I've just amended that section to now point to your version as it is easier to use and those larger images make a difference!

I only hope you don't keep doing this as I will have to keep going back to update my book!!  ;D

thanks for the feedback everyone.  I am also open to suggestions for improvement.

The tool can now also sort your keywords alphabetically (using the little A symbol on the right)

Great tool Leaf!  I can forsee using both tools together - save one set of selected words to the first box on your comparison tool, then search again under different yet related keywords to develop a second set of key words and add that to the second box to compare and create a final list ready for any fine-tuning as necessary to fit the specific image.

Very slick, should help lots of contributors.  The keyword comparison tool looks great too.

Is it possible to draw results from other than shutterstock?  It would be useful for me to see a broader range.

I'd also love a search again function excluding the first set of results.  The results I got for one search were way off the mark because of spammed images at shutterstock.  Maybe a second set of results would be better?

First tried this at work with IE 7 (what I'm stuck with) and the check all, uncheck all, and start again buttons seemed to all be piled up on top of each other, making it hard to use them.

Wow cool
In first impression tool is great.
I think font and red areas are too big. You dont need bigger font for most pop words. Try to make it more compact. Just to fill one screen without scrolling. on left side you can make 5 or maybe 7 columns. On right side space is not significant to so big to be in half of the screen like just now.
1/4 will bee just enough maybe 1/5 of size which is now. Or just enable users to slide )now hidden) vertical bar of frame where they want.

cool thanks for sharing

some good options would be

1) ability to go to the next photos in the search order i.e show me 101-200 in the best match sort order.
2) A couple of standard lists that you can also select from like  (nobody, day, horizontal, vertical, outdoors, indoors, colour, male, female, etc.)

It's a great tool! just made use of it for the first time
I'm used to dusegard's tool (http://dusegard.se/PhotoKeywording.aspx), so I'm missing an option to select only vectors / illustrations and sort out photos. Other than that, very nice tool

Only one word is needed to describe your contribution, Leaf.  FANTASTIC.
Thank you so much.

Good tool, BUT: Like the other tools it works only in English. I would need one in German.
