Something related to microstock:

If you go to http://photoshopdisasters.blogspot.com/2010/03/dell-to-stocks.html , then follow link to Dell site you will no longer see it. I guess they noticed everybody knows they steal images :-)

A lot of times the thumbnail with the watermark is used "for position only" until the client approves the image, then the designer can buy the correct size and replace it in the document. Sometimes the design goes out without replacing the fpo. I've done it by mistake a few times when I was really busy. :o

Yeah I saw a 1/2 page ad in a magazine once that still had the iStock logo on it.  I am guessing the designer forgot to switch it out with the purchased image :)
