Some  sites  accept  a  generic  version  and  some  don't.  It  would   be  interesting  to  see  which  sites  will  accept  it  and  which  won't.

I believe "generic" refers to a release that is not branded, or specific to any one website.

Actually this is modified MR from GreddyIMGs release. Only you must change is end of second chapter and enter you country and colonies if you country have/own any.
Somehow from time to time eg at 50% rate on IS they reject it just because of that.
New creepy or just uneducated reviewers from IS side. Nothing new  :o

You are right Lisa, my mistake :)

By the way, I just notice that they are completely same, iSocks and Yuris releases! Sama text in both. Of course another without the iStock logo and contact. So, I think that iStock must approve it.

This all, it's more easier make only one release with the model than two different releases. One for IS and one for another stocks. Mayby Yuris "new version" is good for all. I try it. Less paper and bureaucracy is better.

I've never had a problem using my own version of a release with iStock or any other site for that matter.  Just make sure it has all the info from the model, photographer and witness that the istock release demands.

I use the Getty/Istock release too, just with the Istock or Getty name and info removed.  It is accepted everywhere, and like you say, it is easy and convenient.  :)

this release works everywhere expect...Dreamstime... Which is a bit strange.
We still use it as it is considered industry standard now.

If you take out the bits about where any conflicts will be resolved "... new york, alberta, england, australia, new zeland" Dreamstime will accept it.
