What is your niche and how do you intend to attract buyers (or win them over from the big boys)?  ???
If you want to win over some of the guys/girls here, you will have to come up with some credibility info here. ???
For all we know you wait till we uploaded a lot of images, you close down the site and sell them for own profit illegally......
Without trying to be rude, if your invitation above is your way of "marketing", I doubt if you will be able to get any buyers in any event.  :o

What a dismal effort. A new low. Not even a "we really like your work..." :P

You're asking people to sign up and provide a copy of their ID before they can see the contributor terms and conditions - no thanks.

By the way isn't this statement on your front page a self contradiction (I've underlined the relevant bits):

"Sell Images - we pay photographers from 50% to 75% from day one! No levels!"

C`mon guys....give him a chance through constructive criticism ... everybody knows it better as long as they don`t try to start anything by themselves... <sarcasm> I`m sure the site has less bugs than istock :-) </sarcasm>

Maybe I missed it, but I wouldn't feel at all comfortable working with such an anonymous organization.  No company name, no phone, no address, no location of any kind that I can see.  Nothing to inspire any confidence that my IP will be treated with respect.

Well the site doesn't have that info but it only took me 5 mins to find the guys real name and the address of the house the domain is registered to, I even saw an ariel photo of his house and all the details of how much he paid for it. The internet is a dangerous place if you're trying to remain anonymous!

I live in Africa my friend, I can register a domain with a $5 false ID, calling myself Bill Gates with registered address the White House, USA.....  ;) (you should find that one on Google Earth as well, I am sure)  :D

I'm sure you could but I think you'd have trouble getting your ISP address registered as the White House. ::)

I'll take a chance.   I registered as a photographer, and began to upload the initial ten for approval.  However, there being no way that I can see to review my uploads, I lost count.  I don't know if I uploaded eight, ten, twelve...  And I inadvertently associated the wrong model release with the wrong model on a couple of shots, but I don't see a way to correct that.  Lastly, either there's a lot of keyword spamming going on or the search engine leaves much to be desired.  I clicked on the popular search word "bra," and in addition to photos of women wearing a bra (and lots of photos of women who may or may not be wearing one), I got photos of flowers (lots of tulips), trees, several shots of a guy wearing a swimsuit, one shot of a gecko (no, he wasn't wearing a bra), shots of old Spanish architecture, coffee beans, and... well, you get the picture (pun intended).   :P

I could have done that as well, but it wasn't my point.  I expect my agents to be more forthcoming about their identities.  It's their job to give me confidence that they won't disappear as mysteriously as they appeared.  These guys have done nothing in that regard.

We've crossed wires, I was just trying to point out that (as you said) this site has no information regarding ownership and yet a quick search reveals it's probably being run from the guys house, which I think we'll both agree doesn't exactly inspire confidence.

Looks like the early stages so I will give them the benefit of the doubt, these things take a year or so to get cleaned up.  I think anyone willing to offer 50-75% should be encouraged to continue to improve on what they are doing. hey any competition that puts pressure on driving up commission rates is fine in my book.  I think a site run by photographers will have a tendency to be more considerate of contibutors concerns.  My biggest concern is that it will get itself in a lawsuit for stealing the branding of shutterstock, the exact same color and the extremely similar logo makes it look a bit sketchy. I am terrible at grammar but there are a number of glaring grammatical errors making it look very unprofessional, I am assuming the owner is not a native English speaker.  He really needs to get someone who speaks English to correct the basic errors such as not using the word "a" before a plural word.

I really don't understand why people seem intent on supporting new sites just at the drop of a hat. This site has a loooonnnngggg way to go before I'd even consider looking into uploading there, nearly every photograph is by the same photographer Yaroncg , and if you're that photographer whom I presume is the same guy running the site here's a couple of tips. 1- You can't sell a photo of an Audi car at a motorshow as RF with all the logos showing and even the name Audi on the number plate!!!!, tip number 2 - if you're going to run a site selling images it probably isn't a good idea to have some of the images as available to download without paying ( that Audi images as example).

It's quite a nice looking site. I can't forget the name as the initials are the same as my former secondary school. I'll try not to hold that against them. The OP, if he is the owner could introduce himself properly or say what his role is in the company. As he probably realises by now we are such a friendly bunch and welcome newcomers to msg with open arms  :-X

The only way to waste any more time on this incompetent is to continue this thread. Someone should pull the plug.
