Post by: pauloresende on August 29, 2008, 03:22
I got one email from someone that buy one of my images in istock. He add a canteen factory and want this image to put in is site, but he want to change the canteen by one that he manufacture in photoshop. The issue is that istock donīt allow that he do that on the image he bought.

So he email me and ask if i sell the image and a written authorization directly to him. What did you do, if was you in my place and sell it for how much?

He can do whatever he wants to do in Photoshop.  Why would he think he couldn't?

I agree with Sean, I don't know of a site that wouldn't allow that.

Absolutely, as a buyer I PS manipulate ALL of your images (no plastic penises  :) ). That's what this game is all about.

Definitely.  This is mostly what our stock is used for.  Have your client contact istock support for help understanding the license.
