ftp is working terribly bad here, unstable and in general unreliable. Is there no other way of uploading or?

That started to happen to me a while back and found a Firefox plugin called fireftp
I use that all the time now. Much more stable

I use FireFTP as well. Before that I used FileZilla, which I used for a number of years, but it started giving me problems with connecting, constant updates, etc.
To the OP, do you mean your FTP client is bad and unstable, or your internet connection in general?

Yes, try FireFTP then, glad it's not the whole internet.

dropstock.io (http://dropstock.io) just enabled video upload! You just put your images, vectors and video files into a specific dropbox folder and we upload them to your agencies by FTP. Big advantage is that you just upload it once, no matter how many agencies you submit to! Plus, DropBox upload is way more reliable than FTP.
It's free at the moment while it's in beta.
