One of my goals was to get a photo on a book cover and I have nothing against it being erotic fiction. But this was just such an odd choice for an erotic fiction book cover.
http://www.amazon.com/Very-Naughty-Designer-Work-Book-ebook/dp/B00Q0NI1I4/ref=sr_1_12?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1422854749&sr=1-12&keywords=j.c.+cummings&pebp=1422854764033&peasin=B00Q0NI1I4

It needs a title like "Herbalife Gone Wild" or something I think.

I read the "brief but titillating taste" and concluded I wouldn't pay a cent for that crap let alone three and a half dollars.

Nice pic, shame about the usage but there it is.

Gotta love the sickly green complexion of the naughty handyman on the other cover. Seems like the author might need the help of a designer, naughty or not.

Reckon the goal was to make the viewer think of the Jolly Green Giant? Or Naughty Green Giant???

From the brief excerpt I read on the page, the writer's writing skills are not too far from his design skills.

Should be naughty weight watchers ... thought this kind of use was prohibited or did you opt in at SS to the sensitive uses?

Amazon will filter certain kinds of book covers from the main search results. Usually these covers have implied nudity or are simply too overt for Amazon's liking. Therefore, people put tamer pictures on erotic books in order to avoid the filter.

There are hundreds of thousands of these books out there. The authors use cheap microstock because they write 2-3 of these stories a week. This is a hungry market, but they need cheap.

The agencies should create some kind of designation that retains a low price, but eliminates the confusion of whether an image can be used on an erotic book.

I'm sure authors don't want to end up like the ones Nicole Forni is suing.
