(sorry leaf, couldn't remember which board this was meant to go in, feel free to move it)

Ok, so November is over and the stats are in.

SS - BME (just), good ED's and OD's
BS - BME - big surprise, not usually that great for me but did very well
123RF - BME
iStock - BME (plus of course PP still to come)

SE, CA, V, PD, FT, YAY all pretty good

Overall, November is a BME for me by a long shot, and thats with only a couple of bucks from Alamy sales (most months get a few decent sales there, but nothing much in Nov).

So very, very happy with that :)

How did you all go?

iS: Compared to Nov 11: dls down 25%; $$ down c11%
Compared to Oct 12: dls 1 up; $$ down c9%
Compared to Nov 08 (BME): dls down >75%, $$ down 35%
This week was the best week of the month, and if it was mid-Oct, I'd be happy.
My BMY is February (!)

Alamy (RM) 5 sales, up from last year  ;D

Good month, up nearly 18% compared to Nov 2011, assuming PP earnings same as last month.

BME at SS and an increase of 38% (from Nov 2011). Interestingly subs accounted for only 42% of the month's total as ODs and SODs continue to grow rapidly.

IS was 18% down. DT was 14% down and FT 17% down. BigStock was 9% up.

It's beginning to look like there's only one game in town nowadays.

Hello All

BME for me !
Around 850 illustrations
first time I reach the 2000$ without the istock pp's

istock : BME
SS : BME (1st time i reach the 500$ in a month with just one EL)
Fotolia : BME (1st time I reach the 150 $/month)
Veer : BME (1st time i reach the 100$/month)
All in one a very good month, more than october (which was 31 days)

CanStockPhoto/DT : irregular earnings

Stockfresh is getting better little step by little step. Hope it 's going to increase still

Very happy !!

Funny  thing  -  had  only  2  sales.  One  on  1st  (Bigstock  and  one  on  30th.  123rf).  Both  went  for  lowly  .50.
I  just  think  it's  funny  that  one  sold  on  first  day  of  month  and  one   sold  on  last  day   of  month.
123RF  is  catchng  uo  to  DT   in  number  of  sales  but  lagging  behind  in  royalites.
That  was  how  Novenber  went.
I  goofed  only  1  sale  in  Nov.  the  other  was  in  Oct.  Gotta  keep  better  records.

RM.  fantastic month, close to a, 5-figured amount. ( probably lots of sales for annuals). plus,  2, all out copy sales 4K a piece.

IS. not BME but way up 50%
DT.  BME. up 15%

FT. nope!  quitting soon.

SS.  down 15% from Oct.

so overall, not BME but thanks to the copy sales and RM, not far from it.

I had another overall BME (October too), but weird enough, not 1 of my 11 sites had a BME.  My overall BME was thanks to great sales at SS, 123rf and ... Istock.  Istock (I added the October figure for partner sales) went up with 50% compared to November 2011.  IS was still 25% below my last BME though.

Going down compared to Nov. 2011 :   Dreamstime 11%, Fotolia 5% and Rodeo 20%.

Interesting :  November shows the exact same trend for the whole year 2012 :  good growth for SS, 123rf and Istock, downhill for DST, FT and Rodeo, the rest is status quo (I only started with DP end of 2011, so no comparison possible).

November was my second highest month this year at SS, with March being the biggest (all of those ELs that hit). Bigstock sales continue to grow, but slowly. I cancelled my account at Stockfresh, haven't even reached a payout in 1+ year. A good portion of my port is now outdated and below today's standards, so I can't really blame Stockfresh for that, but I don't think many others are doing well there either, so...

iStock exclusive:

Nov vs Oct: $s down 19%, DLs down 17%.
2012 vs 2011: $s down 1%, DLs down 30% (portfolio size +47%)

November was my BME by a narrow margin.
Good News: Big Stock is still low earner but sales are really picking up last three months. I reached payout at SF. BME at Pixmac. Great is that my laziness (number of images that I upload decreased by 85% compared to previous year) has no influence on earnings.

SS 35%
FT 16
123 6
DT 5
iS 5
Can 3
DP 2
BS 2
Veer 2

Zazzle 6

& others

What a wonderful month!

I may be just shy of an overall BME - won't know until I see the PP numbers later in the month. As the iStock PP is now the third highest earner (after SS and IS) it can make a difference. My BME was November 2010 as an IS exclusive and even if I'm shy, it won't be much.

November was up 20% over Oct 2012 (which was up 22% over Sept) and up 55% over Nov 2011

SS had a BME (by 10% over Oct 2012) and was up 32% over Nov 2011. This was in spite of relatively fewer ELs than October, but very strong on demand sales. Downloads were up 27% over Nov 2011 - what that says is that even though revenue per download is increasing, so are downloads. So far anyway, they're avoiding the trap IS fell into - increasing prices so much you lose buyers and have to offset that with ever increasing prices.

IS could never be a BME after having been exclusive, but it was at least up 15% from Oct 2012 (which was up from the month before, but it had fallen so far into the toilet that this was just climbing out a bit more) and up 17% from Nov 2011

DT had a best month since I returned in June 2011, but not a BME - that was still in Nov 2006! RPD then was about half what it was Nov 2012 but there was more total money (and I think on a smaller portfolio, but I don't keep track of that number; I think it was certainly a less salable portfolio then). DT was up 20% over Oct 2012 and Nov 2011

123rf had a BME, up 29% from Oct 2012 - and I haven't uploaded there since they announced their wretched RC scheme

CanStock had a BME, up 156% from Oct 2012, largely because of better distribution DLs and one EL

BigStock had a best month since returning June 2011, up 31% over Oct 2012 with DLs doubling  (but way, way short of the earlier sales levels they had; this was 1/5 of the BME in Nov 2007)

Veer was up 49% over Oct 2012, PhotoDune was up 57% over Oct 2012 on regular sales, plus I had a photo in the holiday bundle which added a nice bonus (it didn't sell as well as they'd predicted though, so it was a little disappointing).

Stockfresh might as well shut up shop - $2.50 on 2 sales for the whole month. They should sell their code to people who want to build a stock site as I can't see any other use for them. Pocketstock sold one image for a grand total of 31 cents royalty to me! Don't think they're going to rescue us from the greedy agencies :J) WarmPicture had a good month, although it's still progressing slowly - percentages don't really matter much when things are sporadic.

Alamy managed to be about equivalent to 123rf with just one big sale and 3 novel use.

Decent month, but not for a November.  Glad to hear the positive reports for others.  Not sure why my numbers are stagnant.  May be because I was more reliant on Istock income than most independents, and Istock is in the tank.

Congrats JoAnn, very encouraging.
But, I'm not.  My month that started strongly faded.
BS and DT were up -- especially DT -- but SS let me down.

Nearly 3 months of anticipation and Can Stock still hasn't sold an image for me.   :-\

after a slow start, nov ended up 3rd BME [other 2 also coming in past year]

more encouraging is that the slope of my running average has increased, meaning increasing overall sales compared with last year [50% better than equiv 3 mo last year]

Your photos are probably overqualified for CanStockPhoto. Submit crapstock and your sales will fly  ;)
