Title: Own Stock site - Sharing info.
Post by: lucato on March 27, 2014, 15:23
Hi folks, I wonder what what tools are you using to run your own site and if it worths to sell your work directly your own site?

So you guys would post like that:

My stock site: http://www.arquivoscriativos.com.br (http://www.arquivoscriativos.com.br)
Engine (CMS): Wordpress
Theme/Plug-in: Symbiostock / premium;
Total of files: 300;
2013 average sales monthly: zero;
2013 average downloads monthly:zero;
Total users: zero;
Comments on my engine and others I think relevant:
The Symbiostock theme has an amazing idea behind it by using the network between photographers and a nice structure, unfortunately the developer stopped or postponed the project.

Thanks.

while leo is not as active right now, symbiostock itself is just fine -- the theme is stable and doesn t need a coder on call.   the install process is smooth & straightforward.  I've set up several sites in  the co-op in the last coupla weeks where the photographer only needs to be concerned with uploading & editing images.
