Title: PAL 50FPS or NTSC 60FPS 4K videos on Canon 1DX Mark II?
Post by: Petr Toman on July 12, 2017, 04:08
I just started to make first 4K videos on my 1DX Mark II and was wondering, if I should shoot in Pal 50fps or NTCS 60fps.

I assume that from the creator point of view it doesn't matter too much, they can convert it. I was thinking much more from the marketing point of view, to have in titles 60FPS.

Does it make sense or I'm totally off? :)

60p if you want 40% slow motion and deliver in 24p.

Whether you sell it as 60p or 24p it's still the same identical clips. Customers know what to do with it. If it looks better in slow motion, put it as 24p.
