Title: panthermedia - does it sell well?
Post by: stoker2014 on January 05, 2023, 11:38
Does it make sense to upload a video there? Is there any income?

I don't know about video but for images sales are so slow there that I wouldn't bother

If you're after expanding your income, it's probably more productive to invest your time in shooting more and better content and upload it to the bigger agencies (SS, AS, IS, P5) than wasting time on adding even more pathetic agencies.

No they don't and neither does Zoonar

I have regular sales at Zoonar with a relatively small port, about 1000 images, mostly via their partner Picture Alliance. Generally speaking, Zoonar is all about the partners. They sell relatively little directly. I sell mostly German landscapes and landmarks there.

I also occasionally have a sale at Panthermedia, but not very often and mostly for not much money. I have not uploaded there for several years, though. They also sell mostly via partners and unlike at Zoonar, you have no control about where your images are sold.

I had a relatively good porftolio there with more than a thousand imagery, and after 1 year I deleted (and had to wait for 6 months to be deleted completely) because of low income (1,34 dollar for a year ;D). So my humble suggestion would be to stay away from them.
