Hi
Do any of you use a certain photo management software?
I would like a piece of software where I am able to tag each photo as to wether they were accepted or not at the agencies - I would have to do this manually. Of course i cant keyword a photo dreamstime because that would show up in the actual metadata of the file so I guess i want a program that are able to make keywords seperated from the actual metadata part..
Any suggestions?

First you could use the special instructions field in the IPTC. So any software which support this field could be used.
Second you could use ACDSee they have their own database and you could make your own categories like SSaccepted DTnotAccepted etc and apply to your photos
Third you could use Cushystock for this task.

If you use Adobe Bridge you can set up Collections (e.g. DT Accepted, DT Rejected) and then just drag and drop the photo into the collection. One photo can be in multiple collections.

For tagging, uploading and acceptance details I have been using prostockmaster which seems excellent but I am too new to offer any real opinion, it supports the top four agencies and a few of the others.

I tag the photos I've sent to the respective agencies in the Lables tab in Lightroom, so if I've submitted an image to say Istock, Dreamstime and Shutterstock, I put IS DT SS in the label tab so I know that image has been submitted to those agencies
