Where to upload editorial photos taken in Britain? Is it best to upload them on Alamy as RM or on the microstock websites?

i am curious too,
in that , where is the agency that is getting the best downloads...
other than getty...

in microstock,
there seems to be not many outlets for editorials...
at least, selling well.

i am thinking of starting to lean away from commercial micro
as they are so oversaturated. you can't find a niche anymore,
before someone else sees it and copy.

I just checked on SS and there are no editorial images of my capital city. On Alamy there are lots of them. I am new to microstock and I am a little bit worried about uploading my images on Alamy. I am always worried that they are not good enough and I really fear getting a rejection from Alamy. I don't want to be banned for 28 days. Apart from that I really would like to know if editorial images taken in Britain will sell well on American websites.

If you want to find out for yourself then split them - put images from one day on Alamy and those from the next on the micros and see which earns you more money in six months.  A few big sales on Alamy make a difference but in my experience you probably will make more on the micros (I have had some exceptions though).  Another way I divide them is to put iconic images of a place that could sell a lot on the micros and more specialized, limited-market images on Alamy - those aren't likely to sell often on the micros anyway and they might fill a void if someone is looking on Alamy.  The problem of course is that you usually can't (or I can't at least) predict very well ahead of time what will sell.  If there are no images of a capital city on SS then i would definitely submit some if you have them, especially if there are a lot on Alamy - that one is an easy decision.  Good luck!
