is pond5 worth for images to sell or it will be lost time to upload my portofolio there?
-
I don't see too many images there but when I do it is a fair 50% and since I can set my own prices it's worth it for me to support a fair trade site like P5.

I have seen a slight uptick in sales of photos on pond5. I just have a few hundred online and in the beginning never sold anything, but it is becoming a once a month thing.
So for 2018 I want to upload more photos.
They used to have a horrible inspection process and reject many files that are excellent stock with weird explanations. But I think that has improved.
They are fair trade, you can set your own prices, so I will do more with them for photos next year.

When people sell an image at Pond 5, if they ever do in their life, they bring the family for 3 week on holidays at the Bahamas to celebrate.
Don't waste your time

no sales on pond5, photos and vectors

Made about as much on Pond5 with photos this year as on Dreamstime and 123RF. Nothing to get excited about but it's something, 50% royalty is rather fair and you can choose your own prices.

I think you will lose nothing if you upload your portfolio to every website. Who knows maybe you will get some sales :)
