Hi,
I'm trying to bring my portfolio to Pond5, so I tried first to upload a dozen of photos. This was about a month ago (maybe more).
Since then my files are still "pending review"!
Is that normal on Pond5? I thought iStock was slow, but Pond5 seems even worse! :o

Yes, that has been my experience with them. I think I only have around a 50% acceptance. I've decided not to upload anymore as they sell almost nothing for me.

I stopped uploading as well. They used to have reasonably fast reviews, accepted everything and sold my video clips. That all changed last year. No incentive to upload at the moment.

Yep, Given up with Pond 5 in the last 3 months. Sales dropped to a fraction of what they once were and getting material accepted reduced. Save your time and go with someone else.

I had some long pending files along with a few others I hadn't gotten around to tagging. I finally tagged them and submitted them and a couple days later everything was approved all at once. I've been wondering if they hold off on processing images from an account if it has other un tagged photos.

I decided to start uploading because of the poll results, looks like better then 123RF, Alamy, Dreamstime, ecc., and I'm already selling on those agencies.
So is that poll old?

It's an indication at best. But the results are old and the sample isn't big enough to have any statistical significance.

And possibly figures are mainly people selling videos. I only have a small port but all those you mention sell much better for me than Pond 5. I sell virtually nothing there.

Complains all over....saw some on FB (attached)
"You guys have gone to crap, i don't think I will be using you anymore. 90% of the content i upload gets rejected for reasons that are COMPLETELY FALSE. Your customer service is terrible when i actually had to use it because you forgot to update the banking system for payoneer and it took you months to correct. Other stock footage companys are begging me for this content and pond5 doesn't even want it because it's supposedly blurry when it's sharp as a knife? You guys have completely gone down the drain..."

I believe this is correct in that they are primarily a video site...images very low sales
