Found a page that does wallpapers from images. There are a few images that are on shutterstock as well, I remembered this swan and the golden guy is probably from Scott Maxwell:

There are many more under "Galerija". If I understand the licencing information corectly such use is prohibited.

I am pretty sure Josten's swan would never be offered under a "free" section any where - but I have a copy of the blue globes myself. They were on a free photo of the day a couple years back - I think it was Istock? Maybe DT before they changed it to their current way.
What does the language say? Are they representing it as their own? I will send Joss a note about his swan.

I can't read whatever language that site is in, but after looking around I am guessing that they let a client pick a photo and then they make a larger than life print of it for display. Maybe it is all legit.

Yeah, they make you a wallpaper from the images online (or the images that you bring them). According to SS rules (even extendend licence) this is not allowed:
PART II
RESTRICTIONS
YOU MAY NOT:
7.
Use or display any Image on websites or in connection with any service designed to sell or induce sales of "print on demand" products using or incorporating Image(s), including, by way of example only, postcards, mugs, t-shirts, posters, giclee prints, wallpaper, artwork and other items, this includes custom designed websites as well as sites such as Cafe Press (i.e. www.cafepress.com).
Not sure about other sites, but it seems like they don't have the rights to do this.
-
You should probably notify SS about this (even though it often appears they do nothing about the many, many cases of image theft and misuse) just so they have the option to get this removed if it is a license violation.
-
I started the same topic on SS, no replies for now. Maybe some of the authors will see the images and try to take measures themselves.

I found something similar thanks to Tineye. Watermarked thumbs were from DT. I reported this to DT, and the original page was apparently removed (the link below redirects to their main page)
