I have tried submitting some diagram images and was rejected because they said I needed a Property Release. Is there any thing I can do if the company who drew them are no longer in business?

Just because the company is out of business does not mean that they still do not own the copyright to that design. Is the name of the draftsman appear on the blueprints?

In many countries copyright expires 75 years after a mans death.
So you have to find out when the designer died.
This is from 1928:

And Jens you know that SS makes their own rules so the 75 years means nothing to them.

they might, they might.
But I write notes about copyrights to them, like:

Copyright has expired on this property according to Danish law § 75. litra a.
things like that.
it works.

I did that with the uboat picture, i mentioned both the 75 years rule and the lost Nazi copyright.

Well thanks to the internet I got lucky, they are still in business and are signing my release form. So I guess if you are in the same situation, do some digging online and maybe you'll get lucky!
