It seems like maybe they're an affiliate of SS and Fotolia. I just clicked on a couple of mourning dove pics from that page and one took me to SS and the other to FT. Maybe they're on a referral scheme?
They maybe have some PD images, but it's mostly bait and switch.

The good thing about them is at least they are sending people to the sites to buy, but then again people were attracted to the site in the first place because they were looking for free. Not sure whatnthe conversion of cheapskates to actual buyers is.

I'll update the partner list with this when I do my next update.  Does anyone see any dreamstime images?  That is what I had them listed as before.

I agree, it seems like they are everywhere these days.  And the name just blurs public perception toward thinking all images should be and are free even more if they can be found using a search.

The thing that bothers me is that I know some of those images that are being given away free to attract people are actually legitimate stock image and I doubt very much that the owners are aware they are being given away free. They are also sites offering free vector images from well known artists.

Now how are all of these sites getting these free images?  I hope the micro sites are not giving our copyrighted images away "free" under the promotional guise.  Remember this response from IS.

I don't think they are a partner of anyone. It's one of those sites that has some free images, but most everything is just linked to legitimate stock sites. Could be working for clicks to multiple sites or referrals.

Also the free images say this...  "If you are going to redistribute this image online, a hyperlink to this particular page is mandatory."

Don't get me wrong, I love the list and it's good to find these places, but if you look at many sites they have an API agreement and every one of us could have a link to the site, which would make us a "partner" according to your, any relationship and our images being a partner?

Everyone with a link, isn't a Partner? Or are they? See where I'm going? It kind of dilutes the whole list as information part, since it's every site in the world.

I've chosen to define partner as anyone that has a relationship with a microstock company that results in that company appearing to have our images for sale or use.  I'm open to a better word then partner if anyone has any ideas. 

PS to add that the list just turned 2!  Did not realize it had been so long.
