Title: Question for those on Panther Media
Post by: jasonlee3071 on January 13, 2024, 15:13
I found  17 pics of mine on Alamy via Panther Media. Many were vector images and the rest were photos.
Anybody else here on Panther Media? If so do you know if they do distribute your images to
Alamy and other stockphoto sites?
I found this out by accident. I downloaded a copy of one of my images from another site
and google searched it.
Which is how I found this out, and I have already sent an email query to Panther Media
asking them about this.

Panther Media distributes to other agencies as well indeed. I also have images via Panther available on Alamy.
The very vast majority of sales via Panther are partner sales, although I'm not sure which other agencies they distribute to.

Sometimes this leads to the same image being available via different stock agencies.
I found one of my image available on Alamy via P5, Panther, and WireStock.
Apparently, they don't check for duplicates.

The lack of a partner program opt out is why I removed my images from Panther.

They are nothing but a 'Pass Through or middle man' company taking any chunk of our sell which is already low enough via direct with most companies in the first place! Avoid them at all costs.  >:(
