Post by: pauloresende on August 30, 2007, 08:12
What is your opinion on this event to take some stock pictures? Editorial maybe.
This weekend is near me (in Portugal)
If was you, what did you do?

Editorial would be fine, remember to get a program so you can caption them properly...

For non-editorial I imagine you'd have no chance of getting a property release from Red Bull !

Who would want them, and for what purpose?

The commercial value of the images you're likely to make is very small, if it's there at all. A quick search on SS shows that of their 29 bona fide "red bull" shots, not a single one has made it to the 1000 most popular "airplane" images. At best, perhaps one or two of these 29 was purchased.

Unless you've got a particular shot in mind that addresses a unique market, it's a very safe bet that you'll be wasting your time by attempting to corral commercial stock imagery from this event.
