What will we be shooting?  The beautiful waterfalls, rainbows, landscapes and seascapes along with the flora and fauna of Kauai. All locations will be scouted beforehand by Dave and myself.

There will be time set aside for critique as well as Photoshop tips and tricks will be shown for both food and landscapes.

A welcome dinner will take place on on Oct 14th.The price is for participants at the dinner only but you may bring anyone you wish for an extra charge.

The main house for meeting and classes will be in the Princeville area of Kauai.

Person limit for the workshop - There is a 10 person Limit. And only participants will be allowed at the classes.

Suggested equipment - Wide angle landscape lens, a Macro and a medium telephoto. Filters such as polarizer and neutral density graduated. A tripod with cable release.

We will also have other pieces of equipment for Canon and Nikon in case you need it.

Flight and Lodging Info - Since we have no idea where you will be coming from, It's impossible to have information for you. It will be best to use a travel program such as Travelocity or contact a travel agent to book your flight and hotel. You can fly to Kauai direct or you can fly into one of the other islands such as Oahu, Hawaii or Maui and then a short hop over to Kauai.

There are many small hotels in the $100-$150 a night range and many more condos and houses to rent that sleep 6/8. But we STRONGLY suggest if your coming to book flights and rooms early.

Kauai is the oldest of the main Hawaiian chain and the smallest. The entire island can be driven around in approx 3 hours.October is the best time of the year weather wise. But, expect rain for brief periods each day. This means great cloudscapes and rainbows.

All  participants will be required to sign a Non Liability Agreement with  RinderSmithphotography .

There are, as of May 5th, 5 people confirmed leaving 5 remaining spaces open so please book early if interested as there will be a waiting List. You're on your own for flights and lodging.

Please feel free to e-mail me or Dave for any questions you may have. This will be a fabulous trip and workshop. We hope to see you there.
