Anyone have some suggestions? We recently went to a Beach Boys concert, and got some really great shots of the band in action. I figured out who all the band members are, from various websites and fan pages, and they are all ready for submission.
Question is... Which sites should we send them to?
Which sites seem to be good sellers for "celebrity" images?
Which sites just aren't interested in that kind of image?
Any suggestions or thoughts are appreciated :) Thanks so much!

Here is a small list of agencies that accept editorial images:

The two out of this list that I would try first are Alamy and Photoshelter.

I agree. Alamy and Photoshelter is the way to go.

I though that it was forbbiden to take pictures at events like concerts. Are you authorized to sell this kind of photos (even under editorial licence) ?

Hi Gebbie, I would add picturenation.co.uk to the previous suggestions. Cheers, David

If your ticket specifically forbids commercial use of images or the capture of all still and video images - the answer is yes.
If you have a press pass the answer is no.
If your ticket was the generic kind from a roll "Admit 1" or no tickets were required (free event) it probably is a possibility that it is likely that perhaps if nobody says anything otherwise you could sell these images - in short if nobody takes you to court it's fine;)

Without a press pass or another form of legitimation I would not risk selling these shots...
