Hi MSG Folks,

Recently, I had a batch of 30 travel pics where 29 were rejected (mostly for improper white balance and cropping).  I touched up 21 pics and resubmitted them again (I put a note to the editor about making adjustments to White Balance and Cropping as well).
Now Time for my question- should I only submit the 21 pics and not include new pics? I fear the reviewer might be ticked off by me resubmitting the travel pics and blast my entire batch.
I worked really hard on some of newer pics and feel they are of high commercial value compare to my travel pics.

The company is Shutter by the way.

Your thoughts are welcomed...

Thanks.
Tom

I don't think it matters really.  I often gather up a bunch of rejects and resubmit them all at once.  I have a special folder for 'resubmit to Shutterstock'  When I don't have anything else to upload, I'll rework the images that were rejected and I think are worthwhile then resubmit them to Shutterstock in a batch of 30 or so with a note saying they are re-edited and uploaded for the second time.

So maybe my fear is for nothing. I just don't want to tick off the editor and pound the stuffing out of me...

Thanks.

I think your biggest risk is just that the same reviewer will get all the images and has little to do whether they are re-edited or not.  If you want multiple opinions, I'd upload them at different times.

And make sure that you give them a resubmit reason like, "I have fixed the lighting or removed the trademark" If you get caught submitting images that aren't really re-edited you may get an account warning.  Three account warnings and you are SKREWED!!.

I hear you on that one- I put in comments like White balance and/or cropping adjusted. For sure I don't want to tick them off! They are my main bread & butter...

Always submit a fixed note with resubmits.

duly noted and done. This is my first time that I have resubmitted to them. Usually I just eat my pride and move on with life. Expect this particular batch did very poorly 1 out 30 accepted. If I had gotten 10 out 30 I would probably not have bothered.  And yes, the rest of the folks (DT, FT, GL, 123, Alamy) have taken about 85% of them...
