Hi every one.
I have started stock photography a few months ago and growing slowly.
I have submited around 15 images to various microstock agencies but
every of them select a few except canstockphoto that approved all of them.
I have a few views per image but no downloads yet.
I would like to request visit and review to my images and portfolios.
Please let me know what do you think about Quality, subject, composition and if there any thing I should consider.
I am using a compact digital camera Nikon coolpix S2500 12 MP.

I also have troubles getting accepted on istockphotos.com, I have tried 3 times but they gave me a rejection.

first of all - get yourself a DSLR. You can start from there.

As mentioned, you will find it much easier to work with a dSLR.
Please tell what reason/s they gave for your rejection.
If you find this 'a bit annoying' at this very early stage, maybe submitting to iStock isn't really for you.

This is not snide. This morning I have had a rejection for "The execution of isolation contains stray areas that are either too feathered or rough." Fair enough, you might think, except that the photo wasn't an isolation, it was a crop of a natural subject against a naturally defocussed background. All grist to your mill, and you just have to get used to it. It's their ball.

Don't submit flowers for your initial 3. Don't submit 2 of the same subject or similar. Submit at least one with a model. Get a DSLR.

If you get annoyed easily this may not be the endeavour for you ...

The photos are not so bad and i do not see any major flaws.

Being rejected is not annoying for me.
Just it's going to be too long if I fail this time because every time waiting period increases.
Now I have waited for 2 weeks. Waiting so long may be a bit annoying.
How ever I learned that I should not get annoyed easily in this profession.
Another quesion is about depositphotos and fotolia.
fotolia passed images that depositphotos did not !
depositphotos rejected 9 files for artifacts visible at 100%
How is the subject I'm working on?
I have easy access to 4 chemistry and biology laboratories since I am the responsible person there :)

The subject is fine but your camera is probably not going to cut it, many people now use top of the line equipment (not that you need the best but a DSLR or good mirrorless is really the minimum). Istock wants variety in the application so three different subjects should be chosen like a portrait, lab still life, and famous landmark all done well will give you a better chance at getting accepted. My friend was rejected a few times for taking all landmarks, I don't get it since they all would be accepted if they already passed the application but they want variety in your first three.

I'm planning to get a DSL in the near future.
My favorite camera is the Nikon D7000.
Wont it take ages to earn $1500 for the D7000 ?
Another question is payment requests, I live in a sanctioned country which there is
no paypal, no moneybookers, no payoneer and etc.
Are company checks which sent from agencies cash in any bank you walk in?
I have a plan to receive the checks and then carry them to a bank outside of my country
I have also an account with one of banks in Azerbaijan, maybe I can deposit check amounts but need help.
Opening paypal account is a bit risky for me as I must use invalid address and limitation risk is always present !
There is another question too.
How to start promoting my images?
Starting a website or a weblog ?
Or posting on forums (not spamming) and so ??
Or they will find their sales only based on the keywords ?

If you're going to promote your images on your own website or weblog, why would you not get 100% of what the pics earn, rather than give a huge percentage to the agency by linking to your images there?
If you already have a website/blog, a subtle mention wouldn't go amiss, but if you don't have one already, think long and hard before starting one.
(Clue: without a reputation, you'd find it almost impossible to sell through your own agency).
Do you know any forums where people are interested in buying stock images but don't know how to do it?
If so, post there (and tell us about it!). If not, what's the point?
Yes, you pay (i.e. their cut of the revenue) the agencies a lot of money to promote your images. Some advertise/promote better than others. Make sure your keywords are excellent and relevant to your images. Please don't annoy buyers by spamming your images with irrelevant keywords.
