Title: Rinder to the UK
Post by: hospitalera on November 09, 2006, 03:15
Kerioak and I contacted Laurin Rinder about doing a photography course here in the UK next year. Obviously he can't do it for free... Would anybody here be interested to join in? We're thinking of renting a cottage (unless somebody of you has a big house ;) and running several courses one after the other of 4-6 people. Any takers? That's a cool idea, and a good excuse for an overseas holiday for Laurin. :-).

Wonder if I can get him to come and stay with us in New Zealand?  'course I can't afford to pay him, and our spare bedroom is being renovated, but at least it's summer here. :-).

I would definitely be interested.

As for location ... a suggestion ... how about somewhere in South Wales? That's got scenic upland terrain (The Brecon Beacons and other places), spectacular coastline (the Pembrokeshire Coast) various interesting places (the Welsh Botanical gardens for example) and a couple of biggish towns/cities (Cardiff and Swansea).

It's also got lots of accommodation choices.

(I'm not from South Wales, by the way. I live in Switzerland  :) )
