Title: Sales at Dreamstime
Post by: wins75 on August 13, 2009, 14:46
Anyone still having sales at Dreamstime. Been very quiet on views and sales over past 2 months, virtually zilch on either front.

Dreamstime had been gaining steam all year and peaked in June for me. July and August have been slow though. Hopefully, it is just a summer slowdown and will pick back up in September an October.

July was my BME there.
August is a bit slower, but can't really complain.

I was averaging a sale a day but it stopped two days ago.  Must be something I said? :o

I had a BME in June, slowed down a bit in July, for august I have 1/3 of June so far which is good. Denis

Augsut is doing much better than previous months, but then July was a disaster with 80% of sales as subs.

With a much bigger portfolio, my current sales revenue remain on the level of 2007, my RPD has dropped below $1 in most months of 2009, thanks to the intruduction of subs.

How can I celebrate?

Can DT please reveal its own revenue figures to us? If DT's revenue remains on the level of 2007, I will feel better.

My sales have been holding the same through the summer at all my Micro sites with a bit of slip off on StockXpert. But that is not the same in all the stock models I am invested in. The summer has been slower in the Macro RF world. I haven't noticed it slower at Micro though.

Best,
Jonathan

My sales dropped about 30% last month but have recovered this month.

My sales for Aug are down quite significantly as well - the drop seemed to come towards the end of July. Hope it picks up again soon...

Yes, as soon as they made their changes to the search I have seen a significant drop in sales.. It used to be significantly higher volume, but now I am only at a few a day..

I just logged in at DT and noticed a significant rise in the number of views. I also had more sales than usual in the last 3 days.

Me too ... they don't get everything right but among all the other sites they get the least wrong ... and the support team is the best hands down. And they also have the highest RPI compared to all the other sites.

I really like their photographer relationships. I think this is so smart in this business. You feel like you are working for a team as apposed to being assimilated by the Borg.

Best,
Jonathan

I stopped uploading a while back (too early probably) but check in and I have had a few downloads. I was planning on maybe dropping them just for keeping  3 - 4 Agencies instead of a bunch to upload to. I like to simplify but if they are starting to make me some money...I will kick in all the ones I have not uploaded and wait and see again.
