How in the world do you save the keywords and descriptions in Illustrator? I saved them, then when I uploaded the jpg to the stock sites the keywords we're there. What did I do wrong? I save the keywords under the EPS file and assumed the keywords would be saved under the jpg when saving to Web format. Any suggestions?

EPS doesn't have IPTC data. Or atleast that's what I know. I use bridge to keyword the jpg. Bigstockphoto is the only agency that won't get the keywords from the jpg associated with the eps.

I was afraid you'd say that. I just hate wasting time keywording in another program. It lets me enter the information in Illustrator under the file info and I'm surprised it doesn't save or otherwise why have it? I uploaded to SS, DT, BS, DP and had to go in and keyword each of them separately. Took forever to do it.

What you could do is open notepad and put those things in there. If I did that... I would use a folder for each illustration. In that folder would be the eps... jpeg preview.... Large Jpeg and the notepad.
Copy and paste off the notepad to the sites area.

This may be helpful. From what I've found, IPTC data that's only XMP isn't read by most sites. They do read the Legacy IPTC data. Until the sites upgrade to reading the modern file data, it appears we are stuck between "standards". Maybe someone has a better answer?

When you enter keywords/description/title in bridge it will fill both XMP and IPTC. I find it to be the best method. You can also batch keyword.

I'd expect anything up to date from Adobe to be compliant with the modern standards. If people already have bridge and use it that would be good.

If you have Illustrator or Photoshop, you have Bridge. It comes bundled.
