I'm wondering if following type of keywording software exist?

It would show thumbnail views of photos like Adobe Bridge, I would be able to select one or more photos, then I would start typing in the keyword I want, and a drop down box would auto appear showing all auto complete options that I can choose from. Then I can either finish typing or just press enter at any point, or arrow up or down to choose from the selection. Then I can move on and manually select one or more new thumbnails and start over again.

Currently I do most of my keywording in Adobe Bridge, I'd have to manually select one or more images, then move the mouse to the keyword panel and use the search bar at the bottom of the keyword panel to search for previously saved keywords. Then select the one I want. This method works fine, it is just slow. The method I described above would be a great deal quicker.

ShutterStock tool is pretty close. Personally I prefer https://imstocker.com/en/keyworder though.

Just downloaded it and tried it out. I can load a folder into it. I can change it to thumbnail view. I can select multiple images. I can add keywords to multiple images at once. So it does a lot of what I ask for.

Though there isn't a master list that I can setup and reference like I can in Adobe Bridge. In Bridge I group related keywords together so I only need to check one checkbox. I don't see that ability in xpiks. Is there a way to setup master list of keywords like I can in Adobe Bridge, and then search through it and select the predefined groups of keywords I want?

I only submit to iStock and so don't have a shutterstock account.

I tried the imstocker.com link. It is obvious how to use that website, you type in keywords, select similar images, then pick the ones you want from the huge list. This method isn't what I was asking about in my original post. I want to work off a custom master list, Adobe Bridge provides the ability to work off a custom master list of keywords. Adobe Bridge just isn't fast enough for my liking, too much time spent moving the mouse around to click on specific fields.

If you only upload to iStock, I am not sure why you are wasting your time at all? That is -- by a very wide margin -- one of my smallest sales agencies. I stopped uploading anything to them about a year ago. They were my first agency and pretty good a decade ago. Now they sell for peanuts, when they sell at all. When the bulk of my sales are under 10 cents, it is time to dump the agency entirely.... which I did...

As for imstocker not working the way you ask, give it a fair try. Once you get used to it (took me less than an hour), it is VERY fast to keyword. I spend maybe 30 sec per photo to generate 40-50 high quality keywords. I have a hard time imaging any system that would be any faster...

I’m an istock exclusive. They promote istock exclusive files heavily in their search results. Yes I’ve wondered many times if I should submit to all agencies, but I have read the many threads here that lament about poor sales at other agencies.

I’m very familiar with the method imstocker does keywording. I’ve also used that method for many years. At some point it dawned on me that it is much faster to work off a custom built list in Adobe Bridge. So I switched. After a while it dawned on me that I’m spending too much time moving the mouse back and forth in Bridge, and hence now I’m looking for a solution that works off the custom list but cuts out the repetitive mouse movements.

I like xpiks too and after experimenting with my last batch of uploads do plan to keep using it.

Had the same issue you did, with not being able to save a given set of keywords, but I solved that by creating a simple spreadsheet with my "usual subjects" organized in rows in a way that I can find them really fast. Then I just copy and paste both my description and my keywords into fields on the appropriate row. Now I can pull them up whenever I need them. It's quick and easy.

And if I need variations in descriptions & keywords for any given subject, I can just add a line below for the new description and keywords. Those are then saved and easy to access in the future, too.

BTW the closest I've come speeding up Adobe Bridge is to setup a macro with MacOS's Automator tool, I setup a new macro under 'services' then record me moving the mouse to the keyword panel search bar, then mouse click to activate it. Then I assign a keyboard shortcut of SHIFT + S in System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts > Services. Then all I need to so is press SHIFT + S in Bridge and the mouse will auto move to the keyword search panel and click. This is slightly faster than me doing it manually and less mentally taxing. Though the method I described in my original post would be even faster than doing it this way.
