Title: Selling images outright
Post by: kodell on August 06, 2008, 16:39
I am a graphics artist, not a photographer.  I have portfolios on a couple of sites and I've successfuly sold a number of images, but I find the process of submitting, keywording, describing and dealing with rejection to be frustrating and not something I enjoy doing (call it a personality flaw).

What I am looking for is someone (or multiple someones) interested in reviewing artwork I create and purchasing it outright to add to their portfolios.  We're talking $5 to $10 each depending on the image and you only buy what you like.

My dream deal is this (after we get to know each other and I trust you)...  You pick what you like and submit it to SS and or IS and I only get paid after they accept and it's online.  That way you're not wasting money on stuff that gets rejected.

I just wanna do what I enjoy, which is creating unique artwork and let someone else deal with the headache of trying to sell it.

Is my stuff any good?  Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I wouldn't offer any image I didn't personally like, but thats why I'm only asking for someone to purchase what THEY like.  I don't want any hard feelings.

Also, we're talking about perhaps 4 to 8 images a month to review as I spend a lot of time working on each image.

If anyone is interested, PM me and we'll discuss it.

so you are willing to work all month for $20?? Or willing to spend a week making an image but then can't find the 10 minutes to upload the image on to shutterstock and earn possibly $100's from your images??

I don't get it.

$5.00, or $10.00 is too low.
