Title: Shutterstock and File Transfer Error
Post by: Asthebelltolls on March 13, 2018, 12:56
Anyone else get a load of "file transfer error" rejections with Shutterstock yesterday?

Not yesterday, but usually at least one or two on every upload suffers from a transfer error, and it coincides with the new upload screen. I'm not sure why they needed to treat each upload as its own batch.

Yesterday was fine, but today I'm running into all kinds of FTP problems.  Hope they straighten it out soon.

Lately, yes. But even more annoying is that they appear to upload fine, thumbnails, meta all there. Only after submitting them do they get rejected for a File Transfer Error.

this website is a mess...they cannot cope with the zillions of files uploaded and automatically accepted.
i'm sure the 4 downloads today are the results of this mess...no way this can be due to customer not buying.
they will collapse if they continue like this no doubt. i expect the next quarter to see how they are doing.
esp stock is growing super fast that this month will be near ss...only unbelievable to think last year.
personally if they will grow like this i will go exclusive with istock. with 35% royalty i would already earn near the combined micro stock in ferbuary.
i loved ss but last three months have been a disaster.

Good point and its becoming more and more frequent.
