I am trying to get my full vector portfilio on Shutterstock but keep getting the following rejection:
'JPG thumbnail does not match EPS file, please correct and resubmit'
They have accepted 51 files which have exactly the same technical requirements as the many rejected ones.
I use corel draw x4. My full portfolio is on istock and deposit photos without any problem.
My question is this: If i can import my 830 odd corel vectors into AI (which i don't possess as yet) and then upload as eps to shutterstock will they be likely to not get this tiresome rejection anymore?

You need to upload the EPS with the JPG at the same time. SS suggests a 800x800 thumbnail, but I am going full res 3000x3000.
Just because for some agencies you dont need to upload the JPG, for some agencies you can choose to upload the JPG and for some agencies you are allowed to upload the JPG separately as individual illustration.
Anyway, make sure the EPS and JPG are uploaded at the same time and that the files names are identical except for the file extension.

One time I get this same message.
It was because an issue with the color profile.
The colors of the jpeg and eps should be (exactly) the same.

thanks for the replies but yes uploaded both jpg and eps at the same time - both correctly titled. The strange thing is they seem to accept ones they rejected in the first place.
May have to purchase AI to solve this.

It could be you, it could be them. People have been having uploading issues there on and off.
