Have you notice that Shutterstock image reviews are getting longer? Are they still using the robot system? Thanks.

I wondered about that-I believe not long ago they were advertising for reviewers maybe the level of automation they were using wasn't delivering.

It used to be 24h, now it's slower than Fotolia, 3-4 days and with a lot of bugs, the most annoying one being that previews of reviewed images are not appearing in the emails. It also takes much longer for images to settle in after approval.

It's just conspiracy theory roumors from those, who don't meet their standards and got their images rejected.

I personally suspect that there was SOME automation of the process but not fully but I think its true to say no one outside SS knows for sure. But for a time reviews were insanely fast.....
