I need to flip to the buyers side of the fence and will research this weekend, but I thought this site would be a good place to get some help. I've not paid as much attention to how the sites charge.

Our company needs to revamp our web site, and for this we are going to need some images. We probably only need a dozen or so, and won't need more for a while. Which of the micro sites would be best? A subscription type site ala SS doesn't make sense. Which ones are purely pay as you go, and for how much.

Before anyone asks, I probably won't be involved in the selection process, and I don't have any images that we need.

Hey,

there's several sites that sell per photo downloads, credit card or paypal, check on the list. It also depends on what type of pic you want. prices run from 1 to 2 dollars US, That's my understanding anyway. Check out Featurepics.com they're an up and coming site with some potential.

If i were you I would purchase from dreamstime, if they have it. Dreamstime has decent prices, and they give the photographer a fair amount.

Dont forget to get teh buyer referal when you sign up the company account

Oh, if you really want to help photographers, then use Stockxpert. At StockXpert I get 2,5USD for the same (8MP) pics I get 0,25 at SS, 1USD at IS and 1USD at DT.
DT is tad cheaper, but a sale StockXpert is worth two at any of the other sites.

Apart form that, Istock has the best collection and DT surprised me with so many free pictures, so that's worth signing up for anyway.
