Title: Slow sales!
Post by: fritz on November 15, 2012, 17:23
On Canstockphoto and DepositPhotos I have 9k files but can't get more than 90$ per month.(both sites)
Well, my dilemma is does it worth to continue upload on this 2 sites with such slow sales mainly subs. All others from top and middle tier are doing much better. No complain!
Any thoughts?

Each of the middle tier sites seem to draw different types of buyers. With that type of port size and so few sales I would say it sounds like a niche mismatch between your port and what the site's buyers are looking for and will it probably not be worth your while to continue uploading. Just my 5c.

I have over 15 agencies giving me less than 15% of my income but I keep uploading there, it depends on the amount of work I need to submit, you can also upload monthly or quarterly, its all about your workflow

9000 photos and 90$ both?
Wow, this is really "nice" info for us, with less than 1000 pics in portfolio.
I will wait another year for first payment, then I will see.
Yes, I have plenty of time to think about
 ;)
Sales on this two sites are too slow!
Sweet words on the beginning, than every month down, down,down...
Btw, where is Duncan, no more comments from him at all.

No.
Its not worth spreading your files via other uncontrollable outlets for such a little amount.
Which is exactly why I deleted my port from those agencies.
