So its about the same on SS and Adobe. I have lots of City Timelapse shots and they all get rejected because of "INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY REFUSAL"
Is this normal? Cips that practically show the whole city skyline get rejected.
No issues on Pond5..
Should I not mess with these sites for city shots?

Blur the logos on After Effects.

From my understanding... you usually don't need a release for the buildings, as it's part of a skyline and none of them are the main focus of the clip. But you still need a release for any logos, which it looks like you have a few of. So you need to remove the logos or shoot again without the logos in.

Adobe takes Editorial now?
From my understanding... you usually don't need a release for the buildings, as it's part of a skyline and none of them are the main focus of the clip. But you still need a release for any logos, which it looks like you have a few of. So you need to remove the logos or shoot again without the logos in.
Right logos need to be taken care of some how. Also lighting effects in some cases can be protected.
Every agency has it's own rules and regulations. If AS rejects them, that's the way it's going to be. Upload to the places that do accept them. Of course if you think the extra work and effort is worth the investment and will pay back, then good luck, keep trying. If not, we need to place our work, where it's acceptable by their standards and move on.

Adobe is careful with regards to IP and that's ultimately good for you too. Also a caveat - I am no IP expert, I just talk to them as a part of my role! ;-) Those thumbnails are awfully small but I think I see Cincinnati in two shots, so that's going to be flagged and it seems to me that the empire state building is the centerpiece of another shot - that's not a skyline... Finally, everyone sees that the other shot is Las Vegas and the old MGM is front and center, so not a skyline.
If I were doing the review, I would at least flag them. If there are any recognizable logos, that will get flagged as well.

Finally, everyone sees that the other shot is Las Vegas and the old MGM is front and center, so not a skyline.
The big blue building is 'The Drew' in Las Vegas. You've got the Hilton Grand Vacations to the right of it, and if they're 4K shots then you can probably make out the Trump logo on the gold monstrosity at the back right! I know my Vegas!

Pond 5 accepts everything.
Adobe has very good reviewers and they don't accept editorial. As other have said, be careful of logos, and some protected buildings or lights.
SS reviewers are mostly blind. You generally get everything rejected the first time and when you resubmit everything get accepted. You can submit as editorial

Uhm, the point of a skyline is exactly to see what city it is... without putting any particular building in focus. Of course you will see what buildings there are in a skyline shot (that would NOT need a release), that's the point. They can't copyright the entire landscape. Logos should of course be removed, yes.
I only see a potential problem with image number three (not taking logos into consideration as the images are too small).
