Oh wow very interesting! I think keeping the watermark would be acceptable for some images used within blog posts. I'm super stoked about the $10 price point as I've been paying way more than that from other stock image sites.

I hadn't been getting enough $2 GI sales lately, so this will hopefully make up for that.  ::)  >:(

Who knows. I haven't seen anything from Getty about it. I'd guess it falls under their partner agreement which means a percentage of a percentage. Probably 20% of 50% which would be $1.

They keep on making these partnerships with lower prices, no increase in volume and a percent of a percent. The end result is little to no benefit to contributors.

I've been considering pulling my better work out of micro to send to Getty. Not so sure that's a good idea either given where things are headed.

I don't like this deal at all. I'm going to stop supporting Squarespace.
