Hi,
I have thosands edited images redy for upload, but they are not keyworded and now finding best solution for improve and speed-up process.
One of those solutions is to pay someone to keywor my images. Method will be to send someone small images and they will keyword it and send back. Don't know how much is real price for this job and have anyone some experience about this.
Additiona question is workflow, software and best practice for keywording.
I using microsoft photo info for adding KW's to images, stockphotomaster for generating. Also, here is one tip. Search fotolia database for same subject, order by downloads and copy some of relevant KW's to my images. After all that import generated KW's from Microsoft Word to iStock ImageManager for removing duplicate KW's
I need:
- offer for keywording 100 images
- advice about keywording software
- tips and advices to speed-up process

For $.40, Dreamstime will keyword your images for you. That's $.40 per image of course. You can then simply copy and paste those keywords that Dreamstime provides into iStockphoto and Fotolia.

from this point of view $0.40 is to much right now for me. I need keyworded images for Fotolia, and there order of keywords is mateher. Also, all of my images will not be acceptet on DT.

You might want to try signing up at Canstock. Not much revenue there, but they have a fairly decent keywork helper. And it's free

I hate to say this but 40 cents per image keyworded is an absolute steal. Canstock is the other option.

Honestly, I doubt you'll find anyone to do it cheaper than 40 cents per image.

if every image is different (ie I can't use the same keywords on all the images :)) then I probably spend 2-4 minutes per image keywording. That means 20 images/hour. I would do it for $1.00 per image.
Just thought I would give you an offer. More than Dreamstimes 40 cents but the keywords might be better and in order of most importance to least importance.

I had exactly the same problem a while ago: a fast 1-click workflow for tagging, included the sorting in order of relevance (as is required on Fotolia, but which other sites will implement sooner or later). If sites ever decide to limit the number of keywords, the truncation will always leave the most important ones in front.

I'm training an English literature graduate here in the Philippines right now to do my tagging. Works pretty well, considering the low wage level in the Philippines. And I was considering starting an outsourced tagging service which could be quite competitive. I know of 2 companies that will tag for you (one in the UK, one in India) but they are (1) expensive and (2) not very stock-minded (more into photojournalism).
If you (or anybody else) is interested, just send me a PM on this site, or mail me on my site http://www.flemishdreams.com email. All we need is a low jpg quality thumb of 600px or so, and 30$ct would be a reasonable fee for 35-50 relevance-sorted tags. The advantage is you can copy the tags in your IPTC, so they are available for ALL sites.

Globalisation and outsourcing. A Filipino English university graduate will get 10$ per day. Considering 8 hours per day and tagging 5 photos per hour (I always want a final look at the results too), and included net-connection costs overhead, 25$cents per photo is a workable deal.
Guess where most of the call- phone support and help-centers are in the world? ;-)

I'm sorry, but I can't agree with you. You can keyword your images poorly and spend 2-3 minutes per image. But for a good keywording of one image you should spent at least 5 minutes (if not 10). That means maximum 12 images per hour.
12x0.4=$4.8 per hour. Now find me someone who will do it for less. If you think this is a stealing, then sit and try to keyword 1000 images yourself :)
In my opinion, the only problem if you send images to Dreamstime for keywording, is that not all images will be accepted. So, you will again have some images to keyword manually.

i dont think i've ever spent 5' on one image & generate 10-20 kw / image - if you have a good vocabulary,it's just not that hard - plus, i rarely keyword less than3-5 images at a time and even rarer are the times i have to start keywording from scratch - i uslly have a siimila;ly keyworded image that i can cut n paste
i average about 50 images an hour - that's writing captions, keywording, adding iptc info, but i wouldnt do it for someone else for less than $50/hr

Not everyone speaks English as a first language, or even any other stock library languages. Even though I've got a bit of paper which 'certifies' that I "know French" (hahahaha), I'd spend hours if I had to keyword in French, looking up dictionaries and cross-checking meanings.

I almost always write 50 keywords for every image. For 10-20 words you need less time, but if you want to find 50 relevant keywords, you have to spend more time keywording. I even use Yuri's website for keywording, and I can't do it faster.

i've not seen your keywording, but i think there are few images that need 50 keywords - when i've seen the lists some people use, they're closer to spam than relevance.
