Short answer, no.

Long Answer:

I was going to give them a try as they supposedly had an easy upload process. The 'starter kit' told me I had to upload 'at least' 50 images for them to evaluate. I have a standard set of 100 I use for testing new sites, so I cranked that up on their upload site. As soon as the 50th image uploaded, I got an error that I had exceeded my limit and to contact support to upload my limit. When I sent this to my contact she told me that everyone had looked at the images I uploaded and were excited to get more and would increase my limit, and told me how to finish my upload. I followed her instructions but couldn't find my images to complete the upload. I emailed her back. She replied a while later and said that my upload had failed and they didn't have any of my images, so could I try again. I asked how was it they looked at my images if my upload failed, but have got no further useful info other than asking me repeatedly to try again.

I wasn't impressed with what I saw either but clearly authentic and real are the buzzwords du jour so we'll have to get used to hearing this. I'm not sure about authentic with lots of Instagram-like filters (which they seem to be encouraging)

Many of the images are tiny but they aren't all from phones - I saw one small one that said it was from a Canon 5D Mk III even though it looked like it was shot on a smartphone.

They have an upload limit of 10 per week - because they want our best photos.

That can be increased if you recruit a friend - they and you get an extra 10 per week for that. I guess that's how they plan to grow.

The payout is $15 so that's nice and low, but in a year at Pocketstock I didn't make $15 so in a funny way I'd rather see $50 payouts with a promise to pay you your balance if you leave - it would say that they really planned to be successful :)

http://www.mystockphoto.org/instastock-launches-stock-photography-service/

They obviously started as instastock.com and very probably got a nice letter from instagram because the domain instastock.com now shows 404. They have an App called 'Picsastock - sell your photos to millions'
They seem to have collected some kind of venture capital as the site and the promotion video is quite nice.
It seems everyone is jumping on the 'make money with your smartphone' wagon lately, will be interesting to see which one will survive if any.

It didn't help Pocketstock - that was one of their ideas way back at the beginning. And Yuri was touting it when he invested in a startup focused on that. I'd vote for "if any" :)
