Just a discrepancy between SS and Alamy buyers which I found humorous.
From a recent Alamy post:
"Confirmed Sales Potential. If you’re looking for subjects to shoot, you now know what a customer (who has money to spend) has not found on Alamy – get to it!
…
Cursor on a scroll bar (computer screen)."
So I decided to shoot one, and while I was at it, make a video of the same thing.
Shutterstock's response:
"Rejected: Limited Commercial Value. We do not need this clip. Do not resubmit."
I found this particularly amusing as despite the completely random rubbish I've shot in the past, this is the first time I've had an LCV rejection.

What proves that photography is still art, and subjective matter...

I do okay on Shutter but I must really be shooting what the buyers 'Don't Want' on Alamy since my sales suck there :)

For sure, there are few sales there. But due to the pricing and commission I make about the same on Alamy and SS (Granted that my sales are not particularly good).
