This is how absurd the politics have become, attackers say she used a stock photo, I thought it was fun. Is this your pecan pie?  :) Same goes for most of what goes on here with politics too.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5115965/Piegate-White-House-Press-head-accused-stock-pie-pic.html

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders shared a maybe too good to be true photo of a pecan pie she says she made for Thanksgiving
Internet conspiracy theorists jumped in saying it was a stock photo of a pie
White House correspondent April Ryan egged on the sweet debate calling on Sanders to show her cooking and people eating the said pie

Thank you, I feel the same about the news angle, I just wondered if one of us shot that pie?

It's not a stock photo. It's already been debunked.

It just goes to show how low journalism has sunk that it now gets it's news and photos from twitter.

You can also say that it also shows how low the presidency institution has sunk, using twitter for trivial fights with common people, propagate fake news and more... The fish rots from the head.

That's the story the article should have been about.

Poor exposure, low commercial value, lighting, artifacts in background, cropped wrong...   ;D

Wouldn't pass as a stock photo even with the new low standards. Nice pie, I would like some of that.

Today's rotten fish head tweet, if you can believe it:
"We should have a contest as to which of the Networks, plus CNN and not including Fox, is the most dishonest, corrupt and/or distorted in its political coverage of your favorite President (me). They are all bad. Winner to receive the FAKE NEWS TROPHY!"

... your favorite President (me).

I saw "that" this morning!
Unbelievable! Although we keep on saying that nothing should surprise us anymore, I keep on getting surprised, unfortunately!

It's the truth, he is yours and he is President, which he would not be if he hadn't been favoured by many of you.

No, it's not the truth.
He said favorite president, not favorite candidate. Big difference!

He is comparing himself with Lincoln, Reagan, Obama & Co and he claims he is our favorite. He is not, hence not true! It's pure narcissism!

Never liked him, didn't vote for him, or her, now he's just a mockery with conduct that doesn't represent the country or how a President should act. Like the kid who over reacts when someone taunts him, this just drives the people to attack and poke him more. This detracts from any good Trump may be trying to accomplish. He's becoming his own worst enemy and force behind his own fake news. He's a bully and cries when people give him some of his own. Entitled little brat attitude.

I have sympathy for the press secretary lady who innocently tweeted some nice family photo and Thanksgiving fun, but none for Trump.

I have no sympathy for her. The reason people assumed it was a stock photo is because it's her job to lie to the American people on Trump's behalf. When you lie often enough, nobody believes you when you tell the truth. Even about something as inconsequential as a pie.

He wasn't favored by many of us. He lost the popular vote.

Many is not the same as most....

He wasn't favored by MOST.  He lost popular vote 63M to 66M for Hillary.  Just our silly system favors votes from country bumpkins and reactionary southerners.

No doubt Ms Sanders would point out to you that he's the only POTUS you've got at the moment, therefore he must be your favourite one.

I honestly thought that quote attributed to his Trumpness was actually a spoof. I'm beginning to believe he is actually trying to see just how ridiculous he can be before someone calls time and umasks a master satirist.

Yeah, he is the only POTUS we currently have, indeed!
Therefore he is not only the favorite POTUS, he is also the smartest, the most handsome and the one with the biggest hands.
In short, he is the best POTUS we currently have.

By the same logic, he is also the worst, since he is the only one.
And that's much closer to reality!
