Hi All,
I've been submitting images of people holding their smartphones,
and got rejected every time for copyright issues, though I blurred logo/lens of the smartphone.
I see many commercial images of people holding smartphones on SS,
can't understand why they reject mine...

Post photos here please. Blurring might not be sufficient, you need to clone it out. And possibly remove any unique features that can identify the brand.

Thanks for your reply Semmick,
here is a link to an image rejected by ss but accepted by DT:

Not sure why it got rejected for copyright, cant see much, maybe a brand on the jacket?
Also the horizon is severely tilted, that will get a composition rejection as well.

The phone looks like iPhone to me, very recognizable.

According to shuttertalk live blurring is allowed and they said all the reviewers are kept up with everything! NOT

I thought the shape of a smartphone, or a car, is also copyrighted. Maybe they reject some files for that reason.

I would clone out the lens and put in a new one in a different location.

Thank you all,
I'll try your suggestions and hope my stuff will get accepted.
