Title: Stock website for uploading multiple pictures
Post by: chasingescape on November 01, 2018, 13:50
I started uploading on adobe stock and shutterstock this year, and now i want to continue to sell my work on other microstock websites, all the other microstock agencies I checked there was only a possibility to fill in keywords and descriptions for one picture at a time.

I have quite an amount of pictures and sometimes there is like 50 pictures about the same subject, so i dont really want to fill in manual keywords for each pictures.

Are there other agencys like adobe stock and shutterstock where you can fill in those keywords for multiple pictures at once?
Looking for some advice :)

Can't you add the keywords in your software?

I think you made a typo there, you might want to delete the 0.

50 pictures of the same subject? Word of caution: Don't spam.  We have enough of this already  :(

Bigstock. It does exactly what you are asking. All the time. Even if you don't want.

I think this is the best answer. Add the data ahead of time using software, not when you upload. Something as basic and free as Irfanview will allow adding keywords, title, description, image name all that.

50 LOL that means one gets a download the other 49 are just taking time being the same. Some more advise, pick the best five or six and stop thinking that more means more sales. Quality and concept means more sales.

So if I add the all the data before it is not needed to add them on the site anymore? That would be the best solution then indeed.

I don't mean 50 pictures of the exact same subject, but for example I go out and shoot a day in a forest and I use the same keywords/description for all of the shots. Is it better to be more selective with keywording and description?

correct - that's what most people do -- I use LR for bulk editing like this - then each agency takes the data directly.  Microsoft used to have a few photo editor that did batch meta data

no one  really knows - I find I often get multiple sales of these groups of similar images; some buyers probably buy a variety without knowing exactly which one they'll use - better they choose multiples of mine!
