They're certainly big on rejections.

I like to see my pics get a chance and there are other places where they will.
The long review time and then being throttled by rejections does little to encourage uploading.
I think I'll stick with the ones I know!

My past couple of batches have been reviewed quite quickly, but I've had a few "what???" rejections in them - makes me think that the new reviewers aren't quite yet up on things.

yes I am too upset with their latest rejections.most of them sorry to say were utterly nonsense.
normally I am  not that  bothered with rejections I usually move on but this time it seemed to me either they are just trying to clear the back log or like sharply said the reviewers aren't ready yet.one thing for new reviewers to bear in mind trying to keep the standards too high ( for a micro) won't make them better reviewers.

what is worse I got a photo accepted and different version of the photo exactly with the same setting rejected for being poorly lit, which explains a lot.on the otherhand a very brightly lit photo was rejected for being too dark. these all accepted even on IS which as far as I am concerned is the most strict one on reviews among micros.

I have been mostly commenting positively on StockXpert ( I still apprecite their efforts) but lately I must admit I am very disappointed with the things going on(long pending time, rejections etc.)

I hope we will go back to good old days soon.

I am seriously thinking now, that i lose my time editing pics there (time versus how many pics online, and buyers who shop there) i mean it's not there that i hope making lot of money. I can accept strong rejection from istock they have 2 millions pics online and they give good download there .
For rejections, i think they are losing money whit pics they rejected versus the other site who approved them. I don't think the money it take to stock a picture on a site is so high versus the income it can allowed.

Sorry for my english, there was some beautiful girls in my english classroom  ??? ;D

been waiting for a batch since Sept 6th.    Finally, and all but one rejected!   All rejected (but one)  for  "thanks, but too many now".    These pix ranged from  wheat fields to cityscapes to a kayak on a beach.   Guess I need to make more pix of a woman on a phone taken from 53 angles.
Oh well...  SS, IS, DT, BigStock  didn't have too many and they're selling them..  Hey, if the pix sucks,  no problem, I can take rejection...

but too many on site now?   what's that mean?  eventually there will be a picture of everything that exists...then what, we close the store,,  "hey, we got 10 pix of everything on the planet now, please stop submitting"

no problem.    8)-tom

Modify:  just for the heck of it,  I searched  "Memphis Tennessee"  (one of my pix was Memphis skyline taken from out in the Mississippi River). It came back with 11 hits.    3 graphics of the state of tennessee, 3 sunsets on the mississippi river, 4 shots of Graceland and one sign on a bridge saying tennessee.    Not one picture of Memphis the city.  But there's too many now.      I have to agree with  Sharply-Done... What Da Heck...

Again.. if the picture sux, just tell me it sux and I can take that as constructive critique and work on my craft...  but  "too many now"   How do you make that call?  Do a search on every picture you review?  Evidently not, that didn't work on "memphis tennessee"...    what the heck _ indeed.

My best selling catogory on all six sites I am on got rejected for " we are not looking for..."
Their rejection is so stupid, and rejected everything, my latest batch of 30 over 3 weeks all get rejected with that famous reason.
Can they have some reviewers that knows what they are doing?
