Anyone else see the need for a poll on the speed of processing new material or perhaps time from approval till available on site?
-
No.

Except for editorial - which I don't usually do - it doesn't matter to me - I just upload constantly and new pictures appear constantly on sites, sooner or later.
-
My reason for wanting to know review speed:
I work a lot with illustrations and deal constantly with new ideas / concepts I am trying out. It takes lot of time and effort and the faster I can see if the site owners accepts it, the faster I can change strategy / concept and not waste valuable time.

Not unless it would do any good improving the sites. But I doubt that's possible given the importance paid our opinions.

The problem is that what is accepted on one my not be liked by all - of the big sites, FT and SS are pretty quick, DT is fairly reasonable and IS takes weeks.

Only to see if everyone else waits as long as I do for IS to get around to rejecting my latest "inspiration". :D
I did a survey myself a couple years back, Uploaded five images, all the same to about eight sites. Waited and took notes. That was a Friday night. Then I did the same thing a couple of weeks later on a Tuesday night, to be fair. A year after that I watched my uploads and when I got done, I concluded that not much changed.
I can tell you honestly that IS has been slower now than before and does sometimes take up to two weeks, instead of seven days. SS sometimes is much faster than expected, but figure on a few days. I dropped all the rest of the sites, starting this Spring. I'm no good for comparing times anymore.
