Found my police writing a ticket on Yahoo front page last month.

Also caught one of my Corvette Editorials being used on the Doctor Oz TV show, that was quite the surprise since I don't normally watch his show.

I've licensed this one several times and found it a few times, including here with others that some of you may have taken:

It's from last September but I haven't posted on the tear sheets forum before and figured the other pix might be of interest.

the magazine I work for is using one of my images for the cover this month, not sure how much they're paying me but I shall take a guilty pleasure in knowing it's more than what they could buy it for off iStock. Makes up for the lousy pay all round.

I've been designing a cover for a stocks- and bonds investors' magazine for over a year now, soursing images mainly from Shutterstock. Although I usually go to the trouble of notifying the photographers directly, due to the tight deadlines, I didn't in this case. Some images were shot by us, but most covers were compiled from 3 to 7 individual images. You might find one of yours here:

If one of the images is yours, I'll be happy to send you a full size PDF of the cover via email. (With translation, if necessary)

Used to do tear sheets all the time but for some reason the past few years I didn't bother - so many thanks for this thread it sent me on a little hunt and here's a couple of mine.

Mine is the Amur Leopard in the top right corner - purchased from alamy.com and I must say I am well proud to have been featured on a first class stamp! :D

Not sure which agency they bought it via as it is with 4 agencies but nice to have a magazine cover :)

Book cover for David Bruce - Funniest people in television - purchased through Dreamstime.

Found dozens and dozens used on websites and probably about 60% of those were bought through fotolia so a shout out to them.

Hope you enjoy, Cheers, D

Found this one from istock in Scientific American magazine. I love it when I play around with digital paintings and they work out.  8)

I do a combination of searches, using both google images and tineye. Sometimes one picks up something that the other doesn't. You can get plugs-ins for both for your browser.
I've also found my stuff just reading magazines I get and even once someone posted an article on facebook and as I read it, I came upon one of my photos. But tineye and google images are the best way to find them. Good luck finding yours.

Did you sell one of your Alamy or Dreamstime or other New England photos recently?

Alamy licensed two of my photos to the DK Eyewitness Guide to New England 2014 and in looking through the credits I noticed that along with Corbis, Getty, and the usual traditional outlets, Dreamstime was the only micro site they used.

Here's the credits page in case anyone has a photo in there: http://tinyurl.com/p5nxpee

(You can see one of mine on p.172 - full page. I only have it on Alamy and a few small trads in Europe, so I made a decent amount, though less than half of what I would have gotten for a full page photo a few years back).  It would be interesting to know if they're still paying with credits at DT, or, given the vast number of photos they must purchase, if they've changed to subs there.
