Title: Thinkstock Image preview quality
Post by: gubh83 on February 09, 2010, 17:55
I've had part of my stockxpert portfolio added to thinkstock and the image previews they've generated to my images are beyond unnaceptable. Also, they haven't made my vectors avaiable in EPS format, only Jpg... Any of you facing the same issues?

Take a look at my images previews there: http://www.thinkstockphotos.com/search/#%27augusto%20cabral%27 (http://www.thinkstockphotos.com/search/#%27augusto%20cabral%27)

It seems they've read the RGB files as CMYK...

Cheers

I don't have any images on Thinkstock, so thankfully I don't have to deal with that, or any other of the related issues.

This looks like good news to me, though.  Anything that shows buyers what a slapdash effort Thinkstock is and hastens its demise is good for the industry IMO.

I'm presuming you're talking about vectors, as I've seen the problem mentioned on a couple of threads on the iStock forums, thuogh I can't actually find one of them at the moment.
