Seems someone has a screw loose around here and can't tell a PIMPING THREAD from a TRUE PROMOTION so I thought I would offer to tighten up that loose screw and help define PIMPING THREAD all at the same time.
So here you go FotoKmyst just for you I give you
Lyndsay (a monthly winner of the 944 Magazine] Cover Contest (http://www.944.com/covers/vote/?ID=8471&vote=1) has gathered her tool kit and is ready to perform a little preventative maintenance for you and help tighten those loose screws and maybe help pitch a tent or two along the way
Oh and BTW this model is Great to work with. She has a ton of experience and is capable of working for extended shooting sessions with minimal direction. An ability that only comes with experience and to top it off if you can believe it she IS NOT DEAF

You dirty pimper! :) LOL
-
....You Forgot to put "Show Me" in the title.
-
did you isolated it, or shoot in studio? I dont see any shadows under shoes?
-
Nah, it's because she's levitate LOL. But kidding appart, it's kind of good shots, we must make more of these pimp threads on MSG, it's entertaining.

very entertaining ... as gladiator fights, sort of ...
-
good shots, photoshow! Isolating blond hair might have been very difficult.
-
Whitout gladiator fight. We already have the StockXpert comment on the above your's and it's not a crazy gladiator ring. I think MSG can have pimp threads whitout people yelling at each others like in any other micros forums.
It's a matter of tolering what's other do that we will not. Here where I live, it's a nursery school grade achievement that everybody have to pass for going to the first grade.
I only like seeing others pics and find sad that on MSG there's not so many... whitout having too much :)

on last image in upper left corner there is visible dodge tool. you need to calibrate your monitor. hhhh

Peter, We shoot all of our isolations (such as these ones of Bobby's) on a 16x20 Cyclorama.
You can see pictures of it on our website www.vegasvisionstudios.com It looks kinda like a big white halfpipe. :)
It works fantastic for getting in-camera-isolations. Usually requiring only a little clean-up around the feet.
The Dodge tool you saw in the upper left corner was most likely from cloning out one of the softboxes that creeped into the frame. ;D

Naw they were just hastily processed on a laptop that even when calibrated is not the best tool for image processing so yea I missed a bit of 5% grey in a corner but these are camera shot isolations no pen tools of PS magic to create the isolations besides just a quick touch of dodge tool under the shoes

Some of the most fun shots I've seen you do Bob. She just pops off the screen with life!!!!She must be a Kick to work with.
-
Thanks Laurin. She was a blast for this thematic Maxim style stuff but Stacey the girl in the now locked 944 Cover Contest thread is one of my all time favorite models out of all the girls I have worked with

Isin't it funny, I've worked with a gazillion women from Eileen ford agency in the late 60's through the 70's and 80's and recently Got back into it about a year and a half ago And, can count on my hand the great ones I worked with. It's so cool and it seems you know it in an instant. My girl Eli is that way. But she just won't do Stock anymore. Always on the lookout for the next one. Wish I was more active in the search. But you go for for it Bobby. Im looking for very Old people now that have extreme mileage on there face, it's what sells for me because no one else wants to shoot them.
Have a Ball brother. Just pls dont get caught in the Box, I did and didn't shoot for a long time. Did 3 woman a day for 20 years and I never wanted to shoot people again till one of my students 2 years ago Convinced me to.

Oh, And heres another interesting observation. Just like you Im sure I have seen all the vector, Illustration ,Fractal, clipart people come in and kinda take over. I never even considered it in any way because Im just a dumbass photographer that is challenged by Photoshop. Well, I've been at it and tried to do something a bit different being and Old Abstract painter, I did 20 and Uploaded them. Long story short, I have done about 150 so far and they are out selling my Photos. *!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's my observation too. My wife does vectors, they easily outsell my pictures.
Micros seems to be a perfect place for vector and illustration, and macro perfect for high quality pictures. If you can do both then you'll do well.

Did you build it, have it built...what? :)

It was already built in the building when I leased it. The previous tenant was a Video Production Company and they had built it.
-
I'll say this fondly...
I HATE you!!!!!!
;D
-
Yea we got really lucky, we spent a long time looking for just the right building and fully expected to have to have the cyc built from scratch. When we found this building it was completely by accident but it worked out perfectly for us.

Don't you find it ironic that I post a thread trying to help a model win a Cover Model contest and I get BLASTED for PIMPING and then I post a true PIMPING Thread and people actually seem to enjoy the images and no one complains. Go figure!

It's because nobody invoked Miz. For that you have to say Miz, Miz, Miz! Nah, I say it
